Airports in general get terrible reviews thanks to the fact that travel is stressful. Having said that, There is something about this airport that is relaxing. The pace is slow, and the lines are short (most of the time) The Good: Short lines, decent airport staff, easy to navigate The Bad: TSA! $7.50 Pints, Food selection is extremely limited. Nice and easy airport. Good coffee in the stores on the 2nd floor. The rental car situation here is not ideal. Plan ahead! Found it an easy airport to get to or away from. Food service was closed on early morning departures Came in on boat moored at dockets in Auke Bay and charted my 40' for two months. Loved it. Flew out of the Air Port back in 1991. Loved Alaska. You will too. Awesome service, we were able to switch flights with ease within 5 minutes of fetting off of our flight.
