Deck Hand Dave's is a simple place - basically a food truck and a big tent - but do not let that dissuade you from checking this place out. The fish tacos are excellent, best in probably 1000 miles. The salmon is great and the traditional fish and chips are great as well. They also have a good selection of the Alaska Brewing product on tap as well, (including usually one of their quirky brews that don't get wider release.) Had an outstanding fish taco here. Others have found it as there was a local food tour group that walked in right after we ordered. Well worth strolling of the main drag. Halibut chewy, and fried batter on fish tough. Fries fantastic. My spouse said the Fish Tocos were delicious. Stick with the tacos. I have been searching my entire life for amazing fries and Deck Hand Dave's put an end to my search becuase their fries are unbelievablelly yummy. I also tried the rockfish tacos and oh my gosh they were delicious. Sad they are only open seasonally. I wish I found them sooner. Yummy food and local beer. Fabulous views. A food truck set up with seating under a covered tent.
