I wouldn’t recommend getting dog training through Petco. Although my trainer was very knowledgeable and a kind person, he cut the sessions up to 30 minutes short (sessions are usually 1 hour) and my last session all we did was get my puppy her certificate instead of working on any training at all. So much potential learning time for my sweet pup was lost and wasted. He also changed our regular session times to fit another’s schedule and ended up changing our meeting times altogether without asking me. I didn’t feel like my puppy’s training or my schedule was taken seriously or a priority at all. Petco contributed a little to my puppy’s training; but the sessions were cut so short I ended up doing a bunch of research on training myself. Not to mention, our trainer would answer his cell and go on his phone during our session. He would also speak with other customers on dog training in full detail, interrupting my puppy’s training and not offering to compensate for the time lost. Our trainer overall didn’t take the class seriously, was very disorganized, and inconsiderate of my time. Beware, this Petco is price gouging! Search Amazon or anywhere online and everything is literally half the price! Was able to get in and out fairly quickly Good customer service reasonable prices and knowledge staff Friendly employees and fun to take the kids
