The absolutely nicest guys served us! He cared way more about our experience than getting our custom. The dumplings were delicious, both the meat and potatoes options. A good amount of exciting spice (with sour cream to help you deal with the heat) with curry powder and cilantro in a butter sauce. Also there is tons of vinyl to listen to. I think dumplings and curry are just not my style. Everyone I know loves this place! Friendly staff and great prices. Best food I had in Juneau. Locals raved, and suggested that we try, so glad we did. Pel'meni Juneau has a cult following in southeast AK second only to Xtra tuff brand boots. Hell, I live in Haines and only get pelmenis once a year when I leave in September. I look forward to it more than fall colors and my end of season bonus! Thanks Pel'meni! A unique little place with great food, although hours of operation are a bit odd, most likely due to the fact of influx of cruise ships and its tourists.
