There are a few decent stores here. Better for some tourist goods than actual shopping. A lot of businesses and eateries in the wharf. Is REALLY busy ALWAYS during the summer. So much so often the service in the restaurants is lacking. Beautiful views of gastineau channel. Recommend sitting outside and watching the float planes land and take off We found a tiny local made items store which we loved! Really cool area to just walk around, enjoy downtown, and appreciate Juneau. Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, a few bars to watch sports at, and cool little shops to get gifts for friends. Love this historical place. So much charm!!
