We did the Glacier Point Wilderness Safari and we booked this independently from the cruise ship. This was an amazing experience! We were able to easily find their rep after we got off the ship. This experience was breathtaking and we would highly recommend this to anyone. To us, this was a true Alaskan adventure! Walking through the rain forest and taking the canoe trip across the lake was amazing! Then, once we saw the glacier, we were able to see what everyone else has been talking about! It was breathtaking and spectacular! Photos really can't do it justice! All of the guides were so kind, friendly, professional, fun, funny and it was easy to tell how much they knew about glaciers and this area as well as how much they loved their jobs. We learned, saw and experienced so much on this adventure. Truly a once in a lifetime experience! What a great experience! The owners were amazingly helpful and friendly and we LOVED the independence of taking a jeep out and touring around. The rest of our group had an arctic cat and both were great. Outfitted with. GPS pre-programmed with a fun and beautiful route. Shuttle service to and from the dock - and even to a local bar so we could have a drink looking at the mountains. Highly recommend!! It was amazing! Lots of whales and even a young guy that was having the best time showing off for the boats. Breaching, fins in and out of the water. We loved it. All of the people that worked there were great. I highly recommend this excursion. All of our excursions were so convenient that I could not differentiate between Alaska Shore Excursions and what's offered by the cruise. AND I saved a lot of money switching. :) I never missed or even got remotely close to missing our boat. All guides and operators were kind, informative, and fun! The whale watching was nice. Knowledgeable naturalists. Just a few whales The musher camp was a fantastic experience that I will do again. Wonderful time. Loved the dogs and the ride. Beautiful location.
