The burgers are great, Seafood is delicious especially their Alfredo with Tiger shrimp. Great beer selection, I recommend their sampler, which is four six ounce beers from a vast selection of 30 Alaskan Beers. Plus your right on the wharf with Sea planes and Alaskan Beauty. Good! I got the salmon halibut platter with a side salad. NothIng exceptional but consistently good : second visit. I was sad to learn that the crab is. It fresh or local yet but last year the leg I had was awesome here! The staff seem very friendly and attentive! Solid choice while in town! Great food and our server was awesome. Rest of my group got there before me, I had them.place my order so they didn't have to wait. I got there sat down and boom my drink was there without asking. Shortly after everyone's food arrived and server told me it would be just a few minutes for min as he didn't want my food sitting waiting for me to arrive. And as promised a few minutes and my food was served. He frequented our table just enough to keep our drinks filled and check-in on us but not to be irritating. Halibut fingers, sandwiches were all delicious. I confess - I knew the prior owners when they opened the restaurant. The halibut taco is modeled after those discovered on a trip to Cabo San Lucas and the small splits of sparkling wine were added at my request long ago. Since then its changed hands but it still does a fine job. This was a go to place for workday lunch or taking friends from out of town. These days its our occasional lunch spot or a good place to go with your friends for a bite. Its pubby, can be loud, frequently crowded, and has the best view in town. The food is consistent and a good mix of salads, seafood, meats, sandwiches, and snacks. This time I was out with the ladies and we opted for the bar, had some nice cocktails with a bit of a different spin, appetizers and a shared dessert for a birthday. Service was excellent and the food was good. What more can you ask for? Amazing place. I am so glad I made this the first place to visited in Juneau. The food was awesome and the staff as well as the customers were so friendly. I will go here again when I come back to Juneau. Try the Lazy Sushi. As a former sushi chef myself, I LOVED this dish. The sweetness of the rice, the seared tuna tataki and tang from the seaweed salad was outstanding.
