This is a fun sports bar, every tv has a different game/sports-talk/event going on, with a ticker tape display on one side of the bar. I was craving avocado, and they offered a BLT with avo, SO good but so big it was impossible (for me) to finish. The service was great. Recommend this place! I'm not sure why I'm giving McGivney's 4 stars instead of 5. It was really good and I'm going to return there, it's just missing that 5 star magic of OMG. Really good menu, food, and service. Nice atmosphere. Good for a group lunch. Bottom line: I recommend it. Our large group stopped in, last minute for breakfast. They accommodated us quickly and the service was fantastic! We all loved our food. Bacon waffles were a big hit! Great place to watch a game as well. Would definitely come back. First time to Juneau and wandered in for some food. The staff here is awesome! They were all very friendly and knowledgeable, and a couple of them ad to the beautiful scenery of this small town. They bent over backwards to accomidate our needs including allowing us to order lunch an hour before the normal time lunch is served and the fish and chips.......perfect. I would definitely recommend McGivney to anyone looming for great service, great food, and a great staff. It's a typical sports bar except that it closes very early. Last call was incredibly early and I'm even that much of a drinker. It's a good place to catch a game and grab a beer with friends.
