This lovely 4.3 mile trail, easily accessible from the Lemon Creek Trailhead Parking just behind Home Depot at the end of Commercial Boulevard, meanders small creeks and waterfalls through a mature Sitka Spruce and Western Hemlock forest. Wildlife viewing opportunities abound, including several species of birds, porcupines (see pictures), and the occasional bear. It starts out wide and easy (see pictures), but turns muddy and increasingly challenging once you pass Sawmill Creek, thus, waterproof boots, trekking poles, and grippers are highly recommended.
