Walked to Nugget Falls. Beautiful place. Ranger Jen was awesome! She answered all of our questions. You can do an activity book and be sworn in as a junior ranger. Beautiful viewing points for novice hikers. Nugget falls access and some further trail access, however this is not by any means a hikers area. If you want to actually access the glacier, head to the Mendenhall campground and use the West Glacier Trail. Amazing views! The temps by the glacier are considerably lower than in the city, grab a blanket/jacket and your camera! A miserable day but still a stunning place. Worth the bus trip up here. Because of the rain a lot of the hiking trails were closed so we only spent about an hour here in total, would've loved to have spent the day hiking. a little crowded but great views of the glacier and falls.
