  I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already! It's very cool! Very inviting and calming atmosphere. When you walk through the door be prepared to be greeted with a big smile and cheerful personality ready to answer all of your questions! I walked in knowing nothing about the place and left with a lot of information! I totally plan to utilize the glacier salt cave and all they have to offer! The salt room is beautiful with nice lighting, salt all over the floor, salt walls, and salt flowing into the room. Sitting inside there is very relaxing! I purchased a salt rock lamp and have been using it a couple days. I love the fire-like glow it puts off! I definitely will be purchasing more of these for my family! 5 stars for incredible atmosphere and awesome staff! The spa is outside of downtown, but worth checking out if you have a car or they offer a taxi deal if you're traveling without a vehicle. It was very clean and had a great environment. The owner was incredibly friendly and explained everything about the salt cave and other treatment options I asked about and spent a lot of time answering my many questions about products they had for sale. The salt cave session is a 50 minute session in zero gravity chairs that starts on the hour. I was the only person that showed up for this particularly afternoon session so I had the cave to myself. The floors are lined with salt, the walls are made of salt, and you basically breath it in while you sit in the room. It's not a hot treatment room, it's just slightly warmer than your average room temperature so you're comfortable but not sweating. They also have beach toys available for children to play in the salt "sand" if you're bringing young children with you. Overall it was a really relaxing and great experience outside of the normal touristy options downtown and I'd go again! Curt gave great customer service. The glacier salt cave was a very relaxing space. A necessity for anyone in Juneau. Will be returning. Awesome experience!!!! So great to have the one and only Salt Cave in Alaska here in Juneau. Thanks for bringing it for us holistic minded people. What a great way to relax and build our immune system. I love the salt cave! I was going regularly with my toddler when the flu was passing through my house. It didn't touch me! My toddler had a little sniffle, but it didn't develop any further. My husband is asthmatic and was struggling with pneumonia after the flu. I took him to the salt cave and saw immediate improvement with his symptoms. He said he felt 30-40% better. I also use the salt cave for my 2 year old daughter. She has a sensory processing disorder. The cave is so soothing for her! She loves to touch the salt and carry the heavy salt in buckets. It's a sensory sanctuary for her. Also, something about the salt cave makes her sleep! We have struggled with her sleeping patterns since day one. After we visit the salt cave, I can expect at least three consecutive nights of decent sleep and a few good solid naps. Immediately after we leave the salt cave, she has a burst of energy and then she crashes for 3-4 hours.
