  This place is very close to Mendenhall Glacier. The grounds here are tranquil, cozy, and beautiful. You can relax on the patio, sit up by the water fountain, or drift out in the pond in one of the boats. Maryann took good care of us: making sure we had a hearty breakfast each morning, comfy slippers, and mountain tram passes (free for guests)! I felt torn between wanting to spend time at the Inn and enjoying the sights around Juneau. The two recommendations that Maryann made that I loved the most were a visit to the Jensen-Olson Arboretum (a botanical garden surrounding a cove), and the tram ride up the mountain. Our stay here was truly comfortable and luxurious. You feel like you are away from it all, while still having all the creature comforts you could want, including a hot tub in the room! Pearson's Pond is pure serenity. You are surrounded by the beauty of nature and the pond. Maryann and her team wait on you hand and foot. Maryann offers the best suggestions on things to do and will take care of the booking. Maryann created the trip of a lifetime for us. She went over and above to help us plan our trip not only to Juneau, but also bear watching, Haines, Denali, Anchorage, Fairbanks and Kaktovic. You will love staying at Pearson's Pond!! Best of all there are only a few lucky families that can stay here at one time, so it is like you are the only ones at the luxury spa! Five Stars! Mary-anne, the owner and inn keeper is doing everything in her power to make it a cosy and nice place. It's almost like visiting a beloved auntie. The rooms - at least the one we had - was roomy and nice. The only negative is the late serving of breakfast - at 8.30 a lot of valuable daylight is burned before you get out to explore the magnificent nature. That said, you are welcome to help yourselves to cereal and breakfast sandwiches. The tranquillity of the garden is soothening. Sitting in the hottub sipping a glass of cold wine from the fridge while looking at the pond and listening to the ducks while the sun sets is the perfect end to the great day. Very cute business in a gorgeous location. My experience here was phenomenal and will definitely be returning! Everything was meticulously organized and perfect. They really know how to pamper people here. I was out exploring and called in to ask where I can go with a fireplace and some hot cocoa, then when I got back, there were packets for hot chocolate layed out on the counter in my room. Location was amazing, customer service was amazing, and the overall experience was incredible!
