Amazing! Driver was great, very informative, and super prompt!! We stayed on schedule perfectly! We took the last chance tour with Aiden to see the glacier and waterfall in Juneau. I would not recommend ridIng with him. The start of the tour was pleasant, we got to the waterfall about two minutes behind, which Aiden acknowledged. We were given a specific amount of time to return to the bus by 11:30 with a 5 minte grace period. Upon entering the bus at 11:32 Aiden proceeded to get on the mic and lecture my family about being rude - even though we made the 11:35 departure time. Rude. Inconsiderate. And service in poor taste. Bryan at Skagway tours was a lot better. Aiden has to learn about customer service Wayne was the real deal. Great tour! We used this group on May 3, 2016. The tour bus driver, Mike, was quite informative on the ride to the glacier with lots of facts and info. On one stop to a lookout point facing the cruise ship from where we'd come, I chatted with him for a few minutes and he was very nice. Back in the bus on the way to the glacier, he informed us that we could leave our stuff on the bus when we went to view the glacier as the bus would be locked. He mentioned this again as he parked the bus. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I foolishly left my bag on board. It was still there when we got back, but I had a surprise once we were back on the cruise ship. I had not brought my whole wallet on the trip, instead I brought just a credit card and a bunch of bills clipped together with one of those butterfly clip things you use in an office. When I pulled this wad of money out of the bag back on the ship, it was lighter and smaller than before. It would be very easy for someone to have removed some of the bills and left the rest still clipped together as it had looked before; knowing that if I quickly looked at it, it would seem like I had all my money. The bag that my money and other things were in (which I had left on the "locked bus") has one opening which is a flap, so you have to unclip it and flip over the flap to access the inside. In other words, it is not possible that anyone else could have snuck their hands into my bag without my knowledge. I carried it with the above-mentioned flap against - not facing away from - my body, at all times. The only time this bag was not positioned like this against my body, the entire day, was when it was left on the bus. Which I did, believing Mike's word that our belongings would be safe on the bus...except not safe from him I guess. I realize this is my fault and I should always keep my things with me; I do feel very foolish. I am passing along this cautionary tale so that no one else does such a thing. I can only think that Mike must really need the money, to resort to stealing from customers - and I could potentially have counted my money when I got back to the bus and then confronted him. So I suppose he needed the money, but I also hope that Karma comes back to him in a big way. The Meeting Place Hosts let this tour down. The tour itself was great value. Our guide Mike was a refreshing change from the two hosts who were selling tickets and booking the fellow guests in. His local knowledge was great and he knew where the eagles would be. He was on time when he collected us from the Mendenhall Glacier. The trip to Douglas Island was also informative and gave us the opportunity to take photos of the town looking across the river and of the cruise boats moored. He wae helpful to my partner who has a disability. On the way back into the town there were stops for people to disembark the bus and walk back to their cruise ship thus having the chance to view personal points of interest that were pointed out during the tour of the town. suggest the operators tidy up their first encounter with customers. The signage needs a professional finish and the standard of dress by the booking in persons needs to be improved.
