Well worth every penny we paid for it. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Do it right or don't do it at all. This company was first class! So glad we did this helicopter glacier tour Sorely disappointed from other comparisons. I have flown in Juneau with 2 other carriers. Neither had space so we decided to try Temsco. What I received in comparison to the others was a a complete let down. Other services take you flying for 40 minutes or more and take you to the top of the glacier field and usually fly back down another glacier. The usually find a unique area near the top of the glacier, let you walk around, drink glacial water with cups they provide, and give some freedom to explore the area. Temsco had maybe 20 minutes of flying time, went to the bottom of the Mendenhall Glacier, dropped us off to 5-6 employees to watch us in a small area. If we ever wanted to walk up to what appeared to be a very safe area nearby they would say please stay together and herd us back to the same area as 20 other people. After 25 minutes they come pick you and fly you straight back. The service in all is ok, but in comparison to what you get for less at Coastal or Era helicopters makes it a disgrace to pay what they charge and not get 1/4 or the experience that their competitors provide. I would recommend this company to be the last choice if you want to have a real glacier experience. Very efficient and professional staff. Exhilarating experience flying over and then landing on the Mendehall glacier. Staff at the airport and on the glacier were well trained and knowledgeable. The pilots were excellent! Great tour of Mendenhall Glacier and other places. Excellent staff and service. Had great tour to Mendenhall glacier with these guys. Super friendly staff.
