Whale Watch Alaska was amazing! Cory our skipper was very informative, polite and friendly. We got to see Dall's Porpoise and Humpback Whales. The porpoise were coming right along side the boat as we cruised to Steven's Passage a few even leaped right out of the water! They were close enough for me to make out their eyes. We also saw Humpbacks bubble net feeding. as we were a small party we got a really intimate experience that I am very grateful for. Cory was the best! I would really enjoy the chance to go on his Whale Watch Alaska again. We booked a tour and went out with Cory (May 2013). AMAZING! Cory is about my favorite person on the planet and our family had a blast with him. We took my father-in-law for his 75 birthday and it was an experience our family will never forget. We saw eagles, seals, humpback whale and a bear! Our son, Evan loved hearing all of Cory's stories and has asked already when we can go back. By far, our best experience in Alaska. Thanks Cory! We recently went out with Captain Cory on a whale watching tour. We saw sea lions, eagles, and several whales. Seeing a humpback whale breach several times was a memorable sight. We also saw a cow and calf traveling together - both 'blowing' together when they surfaced. Cory's description of the beautiful scenery and his knowledge of the wildlife added to the great experience. The tour was very personable and never felt 'canned' or 'old hat'. I definitely suggest Captain Cory for a whale watching tour. I went whale watching with Captain Cory at the helm this morning Friday, May 17th. 2013. We went out towards Shelter Island North of Juneau, where Cory had mentioned that it was very common where humpback whales come in going in a counter clockwise motion and he was right. We saw about 5 hump back whales, and no sooner than we spotted one it began to breach and put a show on for us. We kind of hung around this area and it took about 10 minutes and one of the whales had come very very close to the boat. It was an amazing site as it rolled over in front of the bow. Tons of fun, I recommend going on a whale watch adventure with Cory. I had a great time with Wale Watch Alaska.... my Dad and I joined a group of cruise ship tourists for a lovely tour along Lynn Canal in August 2010. Love the hump back whales!!! Our captain was courteous, safe and fun...I recommend Whale Watch Alaska to anyone looking for a great Alaskan adventure.
